The building is located in the western part of D\u00fcsseldorf city center and consists of 8 floors, which are used as office space. It was built in 1974 and has a total area of 9,198 m\u00b2. As a solitary building at the entrance to the quarter, the office building forms a striking urban development prelude. The revitalization in 2006 included a new internal structure and a modernization of the outer shell based on current energy-saving concepts. The striking structure of the fa\u00e7ade is the result of two alternating elements in light-dark contrast: the white Alucobond fa\u00e7ade stands as a tectonic framework in front of the dark glazing. The special quality of the fa\u00e7ade is its cost-effectiveness with extreme contouring and plasticity. The core of the 50 x 22 m building was extended in the middle and truncated at the ends.
